On March 21, 2023, the legal team submitted its Third Supplemental Filing to the court, along with the result of our ballistics report. The results showed us what we've known all along - the gun was in the possession of law enforcement from 1973 through two days after the murder.

The 219 page Petition contains 19 claims which describe how Chief’s constitutional rights have been violated throughout the last 43 years and that he is unlawfully imprisoned. The vast majority of the 3400 pages of Exhibits to the Petition, through law enforcement reports, prove extensive, egregious prosecutorial misconduct. The trial transcripts contain many instances of the false testimony given by law enforcement and Billy Brown, at the direction of the prosecution.
